Play fair and enjoy it. Every game is free, with no card and no login. The one thing we sell is for the grown-up: the Captain's Chart, one payment, for life, with nothing to renew. If you change your mind within 30 days of paying, you get a full refund with no questions. The games, characters and lessons are our own original work, so please do not copy them.
These terms govern your use of captaincleo.com and the games on it, operated by Eternal Raine Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16505815, registered office 1 Bluebell Drive, Lower Stondon, Henlow SG16 6NN. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Captain Cleo is made for children to use with a parent or guardian. If you are under 18, please use it with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf.
The games, the Captain Cleo character and all other characters, the artwork, the sound, the educational content and curriculum, and the software that runs them are original works owned by Eternal Raine Ltd. You may play them for personal, family use. They may not be copied, reproduced, adapted, redistributed, published, resold or commercially exploited, in whole or in part, and you may not create derivative works from them, without our written permission.
Every game in every world is free to play. There is no card, no login, no advert and nothing to buy inside a game. A child's progress is saved in the browser on the device they play on, not with us.
The Captain's Chart is for a parent or guardian, not for the child, and it does not unlock any game: every game stays free. It lays the games out as levels of money, maths and clear thinking, marks each level as your child plays it, gives a certificate for each finished level, and includes the full report in the Parent Port, opened with a PIN you choose.
Nothing charges today. The Chart opens soon, and these terms are shown again before you pay.
If you already hold a yearly family membership, it is no longer sold, and it continues on the terms you bought it under: it runs to the end of the year you paid for, it does not renew by itself, and your Founding Family status stays with your account.
You have a 30 day no-questions refund. Within 30 days of paying, email hello@captaincleo.com from the address you paid with and we refund the full amount to the card you paid with. This sits on top of your statutory rights as a consumer, which these terms do not reduce.
Captain Cleo teaches money and other subjects for learning and enjoyment. It is not financial, legal or professional advice, and we do not guarantee any particular result or outcome from using it.
We work hard to keep the site available and safe, but we provide it "as is" and do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under law that the law does not allow to be excluded.
We may update the games, the site and these terms as the product grows. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
